ClassCharge app for iPhone and iPad

The ClassCharge App is a free, simple tool, which allows schools and other organisations to see a real-time view of key information for every tablet within their premises. When installed on a group of iPad or LearnPad tablets, users can log into the ClassCharge Portal, and see an instant overview of: the physical location, the battery level, and the charging status of each device, all organised by the type and name of each tablet.

The App requires a location beacon to be in place within each zone of the premises – this will define the areas which can then be identified via the portal, allowing users to name zones as ‘The Library’ or ‘Office 3’ for example. One of the simplest way to achieve this is to store your range of iPad or LearnPad tablets within a ClassCharge Tectus wireless charging unit. As well as automatically charging your tablets without the need for cables, each charging unit also features a location beacon already installed – this means the tablets are always ready for action, and you always know where they are.

Please note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
